Swondmand develops Shooting Range solution

In collaboration with a customer, Swondmand has decided to develop a Windows 10/11 application to control targets on a shooting range.

The customer's existing shooting range application is old fashoned and difficult to use, so we have presented a mockup of a future Windows 10/11 application built on WinUI 3 that will bring simpleness, stability and a lot of flexibility in supporting shooting range instructors and shooters on the range.

The solution will contain a combination of hardware and software needed to control the relays, which then controls the actual targets on the existing shooting range. Hardware is being evaluated and development of the Windows application is ongoing and we expect the software to be available on the market in the beginning of 2025.

In total our system will control more than 80 targets on the track, but we will design the system to make it possible to control far more targets than that if necessary. This opens for really large shooting range facilities.

It will be useful for simple start and stop scenarios on the hunting track, to complex hostage situations or multi friend-enemy situations.
